Grace Arrested for DUI

Former professional baseball player Mark Grace was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) over Memorial Day weekend after local police spotted him driving poorly in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Grace, who played first base for the Chicago Cubs between 1988 and 2000 and was a three time All Star, was pulled over by local law enforcement around 1 o'clock in the morning after being spotted weaving within his lane and making a wide right turn.  Grace, who is now 46 years old, was reportedly asked to perform several field sobriety tests.  When officers at the scene asked him how he thought he performed, he reportedly answered, "Not well enough."  Grace also did not have his license with him at the time of his arrest and could not produce registration for his vehicle.  Grace also admitted to officers at the scene that he had had "a few drinks," including one drink just minutes before being pulled over.  Grace was taken to a local command center where blood was drawn to determine his blood alcohol content.  Results of that test have not yet been released.  Grace was arrested on suspicion of DUI and cited for improper right turn, and not having his driver's license or vehicle registration.
