Jowett Arrested for DUI

Reality show star Jennifer Jowett was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in January--the very same night her show, "You're Cut Off," premiered on television.  Jowett, who is featured as a spoiled rich girl suddenly forced to fend for herself without the help of wealthy relatives, was initially pulled over in the West Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles on January 11th after local law enforcement agents spotted her talking on her cell phone without the required hands-free earpiece while driving.  Once officers approached Jowett's vehicle, they reportedly smelled alcohol on her breath and asked her to step outside of her car.  Jowett reportedly did poorly on the field sobriety tests the officers at the scene administered.  Jowett was then asked to take a breath analysis test, where she reportedly blew 0.10% for blood alcohol concentration, which is above the legal limit of 0.08%.  Jowett was arrested and released the next morning around 8 a.m. after posting bail.  No word has been released on if or when her trial will begin.
