Delgado Charged with DUI and Child Endangerment

Mirian Delgado of Inglewood, was arrested after a suspected alcohol-related car accident that left a seven-year-old child in critical condition.  According to police reports, Delgado was driving her Dodge Durango down an Inglewood street just after 4 o'clock in the morning this past Saturday when she veered off the road and hit a nearby palm tree.  The seven-year-old child in her vehicle at the time was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt and sustained severe injuries as a result.  No other vehicles were involved in the accident.  Delgado was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs (DUI), as well as child endangerment.  She was released from a local jail after posting $100,000 bail.  Delgado is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
