Glanville Arrested for DUI
Hollywood make-up artist Brandi Glanville was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) in the very early hours of Friday morning. Glanville, who is better known as the ex-wife of actor Eddie Cibrian was stopped by local law enforcement agents on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills for an unspecified traffic violation. Officers at the scene reported that they smelled alcohol coming either from inside Glanville's car or from Glanville herself and accordingly administered a field sobriety test. After determining that Glanville was driving under the influence of alcohol, she was arrested and booked into a Beverly Hills jail, where she remained until after 8 o'clock later that morning when she was released. No date has yet been announced for her arraignment.
Glanville's eight-year marriage to Cibrian very publicly collapsed after Cibrian was discovered to have been having an affair with country music superstar LeAnn Rimes, who had worked with Cibrian on the made-for-television movie Northern Lights in 2009. Glanville and Cibrian were officially divorced in 2010.
