Recently, Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil (actual name is Vincent Neil Wharton) was allegedly "smashed" before his drunk driving arrest according to celebrity tabloid TMZ. Before he was arrested for a DUI, he was a suspect in a camera smashing incident earlier that same evening. Just before midnight, a woman reported that Neil had snatched her camera and destroyed it after she took his picture. Authorities were searching for Neil when they subsequently arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Supposedly the singer had been sober for three years. Officers detected alcohol and he was given a field sobriety test and was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. Neil posted bail within the hour by his wife. Like many of the clients represented by Los Angeles DUI Defense Attorneys, Neil has a long history of battling alcohol demons.
