Los Angeles DUI Fatality

A Los Angeles area DUI ended in a fatality, as a man was arrested after his vehicle struck and killed a man on a bicycle in Long Beach recently.  The man was charged with a Vehicular Manslaughter DUI, a Felony DUI which could lead to serious jail time and more.

In another Vehicular Manslaughter DUI case in California, three Bakersfield women were killed when a vehicle heading south was struck by a vehicle headed north.  The driver of the other vehicle was charged with three counts of Vehicular Manslaughter DUI and two counts of Felony DUI causing an injury.

In El Cajon, an elderly 75-year-old man was drunk when he crashed his SUV into a Carl's Jr., killing one of the patron's according to police reports.  The man pleaded not guilty to Vehicular Manslaughter DUI, but faces serious prison time.  The allegations state that he drove with a blood alcohol level of .15, which is almost twice the legal limit of .08.
